Support

Answers for the beta.
Controls when you need them.

The fastest support path is usually inside the app, where Flare can keep product feedback separate from safety reports.

Common questions

Start here.

These answers reflect the current closed-beta behaviour and may change as the product develops.

Who can use the beta?+

Flare’s current closed beta is for adults aged 18 and over who have received access and accepted the current beta policies.

Why can’t I see the exact meeting point?+

Before acceptance, Flare shows an intentionally offset approximate area. The exact meeting details become available only after the host accepts your request.

Can Flare track me in the background?+

No. Flare requests foreground location only. Optional nearby alerts use the latest accurate location you deliberately provide while using the app.

What happens when a flare ends?+

It leaves map discovery. A natural expiry can retain a short post-event handoff for the fixed attendee roster; cancellation closes ordinary access immediately.

How do I block or report someone?+

Open the relevant member profile from a flare or connection context. Blocking creates immediate separation; reporting sends a restricted safety record for moderator review.

How do I delete my account?+

Open Profile & Settings, expand Account management and choose Permanently delete account. If you cannot access the app, use the external account-deletion request below.

Where do I send beta feedback?+

Use Beta feedback inside Profile & Settings for product ideas and technical issues. Use the dedicated Report flow for safety or conduct concerns.

SAFETY CONCERN

Need to report a member?

Use the member’s in-app Block and report flow so the report reaches the restricted moderation system.

IMMEDIATE DANGER

Flare is not emergency support.

In Australia, call Triple Zero (000) for urgent police, fire or ambulance assistance.

Still need help?
