Open the local map
Choose a discovery distance and see active, eligible flares around your current foreground location. Public markers represent approximate areas, not live people.
How it works
Flare keeps the journey deliberately small: discover, decide, ask, meet—and let the moment end.
Choose a discovery distance and see active, eligible flares around your current foreground location. Public markers represent approximate areas, not live people.
Browse the title, activity category, host profile, approximate area and time remaining. Seen, pending and accepted states stay visually distinct.
A request gives the host your public profile—not your private information. A decline is final for that flare and removes it from your map.
The host reviews incoming profiles and accepts or declines each person. Accepted participants move into the shared Who’s going list.
Only after acceptance do the exact venue, address, optional arrival instructions and temporary event chat become available.
Accepted attendees can view one another’s public profiles and choose to form a private, mutual connection through their shared flare.
Natural expiry removes the plan from discovery and begins a short handoff window. Cancellation closes ordinary access immediately.
Two ways to participate
Set the public invitation, activity category, audience, privacy radius, meeting details and duration. Review every request and retain control of the attendee list.
See enough public context to decide, request access and receive the exact details only when the host says yes.
